Welcome 2006! And now, we begin a different countdown… the countdown to baby Ashley’s birth! 21 days, 20 days…
Today, we also had our first church service of 2006 and the theme was Hawaiian (or something like that). Everyone was encouraged to come in loud and colourful floral patterns to symbolize the fresh new beginnings that we are experiencing this year. Glad to say, IslandHope was ever ready to rise to the challenge!
As for me, a pair of orange floral shorts were the closest things I had to “Hawaiian” but I decided against it. Showing leg hair in church is not the most edifying thing to do (imagining Ps Dinah’s face… imagining Ps Dinah’s face…) For an idea of what she would do to someone showing-off unecessary body parts, see Gab’s demonstration below.
WoOoo nice pics! =P I cannot wait for Ashley’s arrival. She will really start the new year with a bang! 🙂 I feel my fako flower hair clip has paid off finally. hahah.. Happy New Year!
Ashley will be so fortunate.. got so many gor gor and jie jie (big brother and big sister) to dote on her.. hehe..
The 3 of us look like we’re on holiday.. haha.. and ya… Happy New Year!! Welcome to 2006!! 😀
What’s a fako flower hair clip? Sounds Japanese! Hehe…
Gab: You mean “Uncle” and “Auntie” yes? Hahaha… Speaking of holidays, the only thing you are missing is the cruise ship background. 😛
Ok next time I catch any brothers wearing shorts in church I will holler, “Oooi! No leg hair showing in church!” Heheh!
But methinks leg hair is ok… no armpit hair though hahaha!
Ashley… beautiful name. =)
Peishan: Hmm… seems like you have a different level of tolerance! Nonetheless, I’d really draw the line at chest hair (for tall brothers especially). I don’t really want to know how Moses felt like speaking to a bush. 😛
Hahah… Fake Flower on HairClip not jap la… hahah..Excuse Moi~ not Aunty OK!!!!! She shall call me JieJie!! Jie Jie Pris!! I will faint if she calls me AUNTY PRIS!!! Esp if she emphasizes on the last part of AunTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Ashley …. very good choice 🙂
Can’t wait for her arrival 🙂
Countdown countdown countdown ^_^
Au contraire, public exposure of leg hair is very edifying! I felt edified reading about how Jesus washed his disciples feet (presumably exposing their leg hair in the process)!
Hendrik: Yeah, thanks!!! That’s coz your sis already took Kylie. 😛
Amleth: Hey man… you are wrong! That’s called private exposure! I can show you my leg hair too with the bonus of letting you wash ’em in public (unlike Jesus)!
9 more days to go to see baby Ashley! Countdown countdown countdown. 😉
Grace: Yup! 9 more days although I know TY is anxious for Ashley to come out sooner. 😛
