Bad-Mint-On

June 4th, 2005 by INK

Yes, it actually consists of 3 words as pointed out by my bro many moons ago.

Anyway, I spent a really sweaty afternoon today down at Tanjung Pagar CC with Pris, Gab and Andrew playing Singapore’s other favourite sport (the first one being eating). After being trashed by a “supposedly” harmless looking girl at the game few weeks ago, it was time to restore some lost pride!

Action shots from a different perspective!

After the game, Pris, Gab and I went down to Amara foodcourt to put back all the weight we had lost during the game. Pris and Gab had the most appetizing Bi-Bip-Bap I’ve ever seen while I had a large authentic thin crust Hawaiian Pizza. I seem to be craving for pizzas lately, for some strange reason, and this is the 2nd one in a week after trying what was the best Al Funghi pizza I’ve ever tasted at an Italian restaurant at China Square Central on Thursday.

Looking at these pictures in the middle of the night (about the time I’m posting this entry) make me very hungry indeed…

The “action shots from different perspectives” are nicely done. I think they should change the sport to ‘Sweat-Mint-On’, we were all drenched with perspiration. Ur badminton nick is Irving Susilo…thanks for all the useful tips to play badminton better! =)

  2. Gab Says:

wah lao… all our pics cannot see face one, except urs… haha
This was a nice workout man.. even Pris made me run, when I’m the one who’s supposed to train her stretching!! hahaha
I challenged Ink to 30 points singles, but regretted after a few minutes and changed it to 15 points game.. hehe.. cos he was making me run around!! I was barely breathing when he finally won..

The food was excellent! Recommended by Pris. Anyone who dun know what to eat in Tanjong Pagar, u know who to ask for advice.. hehe

eh? which side of Tanjong Pagar ah?
Didn’t know they have a CC here.

well, i spent my weekend sweat all over the place too, after playing tennis on Fri, Sat, and Sun, 2 hours each. I think I might have lost 1-2 kg just over the weekend, hahaha…

2 hours for 3 days running!!! Omg… I felt so tired only after 30 mins. Heh… anyway, Tanjung Pagar CC is somewhere near Keppel Tower. Quite a far walk from where we work. :D

Gab: You did well man scoring 8 points against me! I look forward to more exciting challenges from you. In the meantime, stop letting Pris bully you. Hyuks…

Pris: Sweat? Doesn’t playing badminton always feel like you are going for a sauna? Should call the game Saunacock or Perspireton.

    >Gab: Oh yeah… now that you mention.. all our pics cannot see face. Heehee.. you also made me run okiee.. not as much as I made u .. but u can dun run mah.. Lol. Btw, u scored 8 points very good already, cos u’re up against Irving Susilo, rem?

    >Ink: Hehe.. come to think of it.. it is indeed a far walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT to the CC. Maybe I’m used to it that’s why I’m immuned. Heyyy!! I didn’t bully him alone… hehehe… *hi-5 Ink* hahaha… besides.. he’s enjoying it! =)

  6. Gab Says:

sound like those shows where an undefeated master of martial arts (wo2 di2 shi4 ji4 mo4 de4… someone can translate for Ink.. hehe) finally found a worthy opponent *feeling a sense of achievement*

wah liao… Pris say until like that, everyone start to want me to “enjoy” liao… hahaha

but tennis and badminton are different. if you play really intense game of both, i believe badminton is the most tiring of all in short span of time of 30 mins.
    guess so …
