24 May 2013 – Today we visited what must be two of the most popular (read: crowded) tourist destinations on Oahu. Everyone knows about Pearl Harbour from history lessons and the movies so no trip would be complete without having a look at the historic harbour where so many battleships were sunk on the morning of 7 Dec 1941.
Before taking the boat out to the memorial site, we spent a bit of time looking at replicas of all the ships and plans that participated in the Pacific War.
After spending the morning at Pearl Harbour, we then took a tour bus to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Along the way we saw a few of these limos.
