The .NET Messenger service seems to be down again for me! Been trying and trying to get online for the past 3 hours but to no avail. I can log in using my wife’s account though on the same machine so it’s definitely not a software or firewall problem.
The source of my consternation…
Anyway, thankfully after so much trying, things seem to be normal now and I can sign-in, only to realize that all my friends are now gone! Were they kicked-out too? Hmmm…

I had difficulty also.. even tried shutting down and switch off everything and try again.. finally able to go in, although the connection seem to have some problem. Maybe it has to do with the server containing our data? we’re on the same server? hehe
Hendrik: Mine also used to be ok until the last few days. Hope it never happens to you! It feels so strange to be disconnected from everyone else.
Gab: Yah man!!! Last night was the worst so far! I heard some people even had outages for days. Lucky ours is only a few hours. It is definitely the server containing our data since I can log in using a different account on the same machine.
Ah … the explains why you were logged in as tylow. I couldn’t use MSN Messenger for the entire day last night … all the way until 12 midnight!
And I kept retrying my connection …. like maybe a hundred times? Man …. this is a sure sign of MSN addiction.
