Saying Goodbye to 2005

It’s amazing looking back at how fast 2005 has come and gone. 2005 is best remembered for how God has blessed TY and I with wonderful family and friends, a stable job, exciting ministry, and good health! To top off this great year, TY, Guppy, Pris, MC and I decided to offer a sacrifice of burnt offering… ok ok, cook beef curry stew to appease our insatiable appetites that hasn’t diminished at all despite all the festive feasts and goodies we’ve been partaking in recently.

All ready to tuck in after 1 hour of grocery shopping and 2 hours of cooking! (And it only takes a fraction of the time to gobble everything up)
The menu for tonight…
After finishing dinner, sharing interesting personal stories with one another and washing up, we had about an hour to go till countdown. In order to pass the time, we tuned the computer to Channel News Asia and played a few rounds of SETS. An interesting observation was that Gab seemed to play much better while munching on grapes at the same time. We also got to see the hilariously animated side of MC when he gets frustrated (pity I didn’t take a video).
Finally, prompted by the unbearable screaming of Gurmeet Singh on TV, we counted down to the new year and shook each other hands while humming Auld Lang Syne. And that was it, 2005 was over. *sniff*
Clearly the most popular person in the room, busy replying to 2 dozen or so Happy New Year smses while the rest of us watch on.

Ya lor…so fast 1 year is over!! I like the gathering we had, though small but cozy. Can get to taste the culinary skill of MC…MC can cook, so can INK hehehehe

Oh yah .. I forgot to say .. I look so sick in the pic leaning against the wall. hair dishevelled. Nose a tad red from sneezing & rubbing… Thank God I’ve recovered!
