Lately, I noticed that I’ve been pretty irritable at people who do things slowly, reaaaaally slowly, like the hairdresser who took almost an hour to cut my hair (even disappearing halfway to talk to another customer!), the uncle in front of me in the queue at KFC who changed his order almost ten times despite knowing there were a lot of people behind him, and the dude well-endowed enough to take up the whole width of the narrow corridor between my office and the toilets casually sauntering along while I was trying to rush for an “emergency”. At first, I thought it was the daily cups of mochacchino that was causing this edginess, but I guess I’ve been pretty overworked recently and am in need a good long vacation.
One day, after coming home from a long hard day at the office, seeing Ashley smile and crawl to me just lifted my heart and soul, and for that brief moment, all troubles of the world seemed to just vanish into thin air.
Ashley has a message for all you hardworking folks out there – take a break and just remember how it felt like to be a kid again!
Ahh… don’t you miss those days?
