Windy: I took a sequence of 5 timed images and merged them in Photoshop. No fancy processing, just had to make sure my camera was on a tripod to make the merging very easy. To ghost my figure, I set my timer to 8s and stood in the same position for roughly 6s each shot, leaving the remaining 2s for the light to fade my image. :)

Miribi: Hey sis, thanks thanks! I'm trying to do a bit more personal work in addition to just shooting candids and events. Glad you like the photos and it really encourages me to go and try more cool stuff. :D

John: Thanks for you kind comments! Regarding Novia's photos, I used a D3 and a 24-70mm f/2.8 and maybe an 85mm f/1.4 too but I can't quite remember now. I do a bit of model photography as well but most of my work is currently not online yet. :)

Regarding vividness and sharpness, as long as you meter the light correctly and nail the exposure, you can almost certainly get good quality pictures with a decent DSLR and fast lens (though having the D3 doesn't hurt I must admit!). :)
