Here are pictures of my family celebrating our annual tradition – Christmas Eve Dinner! Christmas eve dinner is something I usually look forward to as this is the only time my family really comes together apart from Chinese New Year. It’s a pity my dad couldn’t be around as he had to stay in Kuching to man the clinic and feed the cats. :P
My posts now seem to be going the reverse direction in time, but oh well, couldn’t find the time at all during that busy period!

We’ve been having our Christmas Eve dinners around this table for the past 20-odd years.

Turkey, lasagne, potato salad, fried cauliflower, ice cream log cake, *burp*

My ‘lil cousin Faith. I wonder how to break the news to her that she is going to be an aunt soon. :P

Later that night, it was off to spend time with my “other” family, i.e. the Hope Family! This year, the event to be at was a Christmas party organized by IslandHope and Yihong’s CG. Here are some memories that I’ll treasure for many years to come!

The view…

The friends…

The salsa dancing…

The caroling…

The countdown and fireworks…

And finally, the presents!

The Christmas party this year was a real blast and continues on with the tradition of outdoing the previous year’s party. I wonder how Christmas 2006 will be like!

    Wow! Finally it’s out…;-)

Great to be able to celebrate Christmas with your own family too. When I saw the log cake that u had with your family, I thought it looked more like a bear’s head..;p

Even heavily preggy woman can do salsa keke! Indeed its a memorable christmas, starting with cosy family celebration, and ended with christmas party at Clark Quay :)

Dee: Thanks! Hmm… that means it’s a pretty intimidating log cake. :P

Ariel: Yaloh… lucky you didn’t injure baby. Haha

Haha yeah the log cake does look like a bear’s head! I used to have great Christmas celebrations with my extended family when I was a kid (with a proper Christmas tree, carolling and loads of pressies) but that has sorta fizzled out. So keep up the family traditions! =)

Peishan: Well, at least you got to experience it! The Christmas tree part kinda died out with my family too coz they found it too much of a hassle to keep the tree. Heh heh…
