During the first few days, babies sleep so much that you have to wake them up constantly just to feed. The peace doesn’t last long, however, and one week later, their soprano voices are out in full force, crying “Feed me! Feed me!” in their own language (aka non-stop wailing). Ashley’s journey began many moons ago when she gave us a scare, not because we were not prepared to have her, but because repeated visits to the doctor yielded nothing on the ultrasound. And yet, all the “home tests” we did pointed towards a pregnancy! Finally, after much hoping and praying, lo-and-behold, something amazing finally appeared on the ultrasound monitor.
